Buffalo Chicken Dip
Appetizer, Chicken, Superbowl
Ingredients
3 cups diced cooked chicken
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
¾ cup Frank's Red Hot pepper sauce (or other Louisiana-style hot sauce)
½ cup blue cheese dressing
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
½ cup shredded pepper Jack cheese, plus extra for topping
½ teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
Directions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken, softened cream cheese, hot sauce, blue cheese dressing, crumbled blue cheese, shredded pepper Jack cheese, and Old Bay Seasoning. Mix until well combined.
Prepare the Dish:
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
Add Topping:
Sprinkle a little extra shredded pepper Jack cheese on top for a gooey finish.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and the top is slightly golden.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or crusty bread for dipping.
Tips:
For a milder dip, reduce the amount of hot sauce.
Substitute ranch dressing for blue cheese dressing if preferred.
Add a sprinkle of chopped green onions or parsley for garnish before serving.
