Form the Patty Gently form the ground beef into a 1/3-pound patty, about ¾ inch thick.
Press a small indentation in the center to prevent puffing while cooking.

Heat grill to medium-high (450°F)
Cook 3–4 minutes per side
Add cheese during the last minute.
Cast Iron Method (Rustic Favorite)
Heat the skillet over medium-high heat
Add burger and cook 3–4 minutes per side
Add cheese and cover briefly to melt.
