Materials

  • 1 lb 450 g large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 8 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

Prep the Skewers

  • If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 20–30 min to prevent burning.

Marinade the Shrimp

  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil and Chili Lime Heat Rub until evenly coated.
  • Let sit for 10–15 min to absorb flavors.

Assemble the Skewers

  • Thread 4–5 shrimp per skewer.

Cook the Shrimp

  • Grill method: Preheat grill to medium-high. Cook skewers 2–3 min per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • Broil method: Preheat oven broiler. Place skewers on a foil-lined tray 4–6 inches from heat. Broil 2–3 min per side until cooked through.

Finish & Serve:

  • Squeeze fresh lime over the shrimp and sprinkle with chopped cilantro if desired.
  • Serve immediately with rice, salad, or grilled veggies.
