- 1 lb minced chicken
- 2 –3 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 tbsp Tuscan Rub
- ¼ cup whole wheat breadcrumbs optional for coating
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp olive oil for air fryer
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
Form
Take about 1½ tablespoons of chicken mixture.
Flatten in your hand.
Place a piece of mozzarella in the center.
Wrap the chicken around the cheese and seal completely.
Roll lightly in breadcrumbs if you want extra crunch.
Air Fryer Method
Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
Lightly spray the bites with oil.
Cook 10–12 minutes, turning halfway.
Internal temp should reach 165°F.
