Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb sea scallops side muscle removed
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika or your Classic Smokehouse Rub
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • ½ lemon sliced
  • Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 Baking dish
  • 1 mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare seafood
  3. Pat shrimp and scallops dry with a paper towel. This helps proper roasting.
  4. Make the seasoning mixture
  5. In a bowl, combine:
  6. melted butter
  7. olive oil
  8. garlic
  9. lemon juice
  10. paprika or rub
  11. black pepper
  12. onion powder
  13. parsley
  14. Assemble
  15. Place shrimp and scallops in a baking dish in a single layer.
  16. Pour the seasoning mixture over and gently toss.
  17. Optional topping
  18. Sprinkle Parmesan on top for a golden crust.
  19. Bake
  20. Bake 12–15 minutes until shrimp are pink and scallops are opaque.
  21. Optional finish
  22. Broil 1–2 minutes for light browning.
  23. Serve
  24. Squeeze fresh lemon over top.
